This significant milestone marks a pivotal moment for the company and the industry, as for the first time, the LNT – Tractor will be classified under the “Tractor” vehicle category on HVIP’s (Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project) Eligible Vehicle Category List.

This groundbreaking development is not just a testament to Battle Motor’s commitment to environmental sustainability and technological innovation, but it also opens new doors for additional funding opportunities. Specifically, the LNT – Tractor is now eligible for extra voucher enhancements provided by the additional $60 million for drayage truck funding allocated to the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. This funding is crucial in supporting efforts to reduce emissions and improve air quality in these major port areas.

Michael Patterson, CEO Battle Motors, expressing excitement about the approval and its implications for the future of environmentally friendly transportation solutions: “The inclusion of the LNT – Tractor in the “Tractor” category is a significant achievement for Battle Motors. It reflects our dedication to meeting stringent environmental standards and our commitment to playing a leading role in the sustainable transportation sector.”
